I live in Oxfordshire with my two daughters (4 and 7) and my husband.

I started The Fox and The King in my husband's hobby workshop after he encouraged me to start my own small business. I had missed having a creative outlet and I got hooked creating beautiful things with his laser machine. I started an Etsy shop in December 2022 and sales trickled through. In March 23 I made my daughter a simple card holder to house her scattered Yoto cards and decided to add it to my shop and it took off! In August 23 I bit the bullet and handed my notice in on my secure job of 13 years. Since then I've purchased a second laser and my husband hasn't been in his workshop since... oops!
